Kovar soft magnetic powder (Fe-Ni-Co Alloy)

Iron-nickel-cobalt alloys (Fe-Ni-Co), including 4J29/Kovar, are ideal for magnetic applications due to their high iron and nickel content, offering excellent soft magnetic properties and low magnetic hysteresis.

FeNiCo alloy 4J29/Kovar exhibits a matched thermal expansion coefficient (CTE) to borosilicate glass (e.g., Pyrex), making it a preferred material for glass-to-metal sealing (GTMS) in critical electronic components such as power tubes, X-ray tubes, microwave devices, and hermetic enclosures. Its thermal compatibility with hard glass ensures reliable performance in high-vacuum and high-temperature environments, making it indispensable in aerospace, semiconductor, and medical device applications.
